~ DANCING SPIRALS ~

male-female spirals dance together in fascinating rhythms when plucked, often alternating clockwise rotation, back-and-forth, counterclockwise, back-and-forth, etc.

logs are cut on diagonal and branches inter-connected to form strong, sturdy rustic chair.

~ CHIMNEY DRAGON ~

 to prevent downdrafts, dragon spins to turn tail to the wind, causing smoke to exit mouth and nostrils.  Once during a chimney fire, he became a fire-breathing dragon!

~ FREEFORM STAIRWAY ~

Redwood stair treads cantilevered from oak log support, with contrasting cherry and birch handrail and trim.

Triangular zigzag bookshelves are very sturdy, economical of material and aesthetically pleasing.

Treads supported by welded truss, spiral around rustic tree.
Branches of cedar tree steam-bent to stairway railing curvature.

6” thick polyurethane foam insulates so well that water looses only 2 degrees F temperature per day with no additional heat. Beautiful, economical, maintenance-free.

~ HYPERBOLOID DRUM ~

Interior hollow of drum is hyperboloid of revolution, which allows entire skin on one side to “see” entire skin on other side, imparting excellent tone and resonance to sound. One head is larger than the other, with differing leather thickness, imparting distinct tone and tambre differences.
